 Shipping, Handling & Packaging Rates

OverDrive Custom Guitar Works has teamed up with the United States Postal Service and PayPal to provide fast and efficient shipping and order tracking information.  Average time from order placement to receipt of order is 1-6 business days with our standard Priority Mail or First Class shipping.  Most orders ship within 24-72 hours of order placement, with the exception of our complete and fully assembled pickguard assemblies, they usually ship in 3-7 business days.  On certain occasions we may utilize FedEx as our shipping courier to provide the most cost effective means of shipping. Shipments from FedEx may take 1-6 business days to arrive from the time of shipment.

When we prepare your order for shipment you will receive an email from PayPal, USPS or FedEx that will contain the Delivery Confirmation number or FedEx tracking number.

If your order costs significantly less to ship than the amount you were charged for shipping, then we will issue a partial refund for the excess shipping charge you were billed. This usually happens when you purchase a more expensive item but it is lightweight, or your order is being shipped close to our facility.  We try to keep our shipping rates as fair as possible, but at the time of checkout it is not always going to charge you the best rate since our shipping charges are based on the dollar amount of purchase.

Shipping Insurance For Domestic and International Destinations

To insure your purchase against damage or loss in transit use the following drop-down menu to select coverage based on the total cost of the merchandise you are purchasing.  Insurance cost varies from $3.00 to $9.00 for up to $600.00 of insurance coverage.  The price of insurance is quite nominal and worth the peace of mind knowing that in the event of loss or damage your merchandise is protected.  OverDrive Custom Guitar Works is not responsible for lost or damaged shipments if insurance is not purchased.
