We custom build each of these complete Strat® pickguard
assemblies in our shop by hand for every customer based on the unique
specifications selected below.
Includes everything ready to
drop in to your favorite Strat® by simply
hooking up the hot wire (audio) and ground
wires. Includes Fender's new Pure Vintage
'57 Stratocaster® Pickup Set, genuine
Fender® pickguard, knobs, switch tip along with
top quality CTS potentiometers, Orange
Drop polyester film tone
capacitors and a CRL pickup selector switch.
The standard 11 hole
pickguards are fully aluminum foil shielded as they come from
Fender,

The
'56/'59, '57, '62 and '65 vintage pickguards
require a separate aluminum pickguard shield
which is to be added extra if so desired. Use
separate "Add to Cart" buttons found below for
addition of these pickguard shields.

Pickup Tone Controls:With standard Strat® wiring the bridge pickup does
not have a tone control, only the middle and neck
pickups have a tone control. However, we offer

tone control selections to choose from to enhance
your tonal shaping.

Pure Vintage '57
Stratocaster pickups are at the epicenter of
archetypal 1950's Stratocaster tone.
Percussive lows, round mids and smooth
high-end chime produce perfect medium-output
late-50's punch. From vintage bobbin
construction to genuine original-era cloth
wiring, all Fender Pure Vintage pickups are
wound to precise specifications for
authentic, traditional Fender tone and
performance.\
Alnico 5
magnets add more focus and enhanced
dynamics.
Staggered pole
pieces balance volume and output across

selecting your pickguard assembly to be built
with one of the '56/'59, '57, '62 or '65 vintage pickguards they are unshielded as
provided by Fender. To have the genuine Fender®
full coverage aluminum pickguard shielding plate or '57 control
area aluminum shielding plate installed please add it separately
below using the appropriate "Add to Cart"
button.
These separate aluminum shielding plates are specific and authentic to
how Fender was shielding their pickguard
assemblies during the '50s and early to mid
60's. The '57 pickguard typically will
have the control area aluminum shielding plate
installed, the '62 and '65 pickguard typically
will have the full coverage aluminum shielding
plate installed.
