We're a bit overwhelmed with sales for
our custom types of merchandise over the holiday's that
we have to temporarily pause any more sales of our
custom merchandise types. It would be a disservice
to our customers to allow more and more custom orders to
back up and put lead time further and further along so
we made a decision to get those orders complete we
received before January 1, 2021 and then we'll get
back to normal operations. We need a life outside
our business operations and we will no longer be putting
in 10-12 hour days 7 days a week like we have for the
last 11 years. This may push a few custom orders a
few days further along but they will all still stay
within our stated build times / turn-around times.
Those items we describe as "Custom"
consists of merchandise we have to create. These are items
described as "Custom Manufactured"
and "Custom Built" which includes
such
items as our Acrylic pickguards, Acrylic back plates and complete pickguard assemblies. We have temporarily paused
these types of item sales and they will not have
an
 button on their item page so you will
not be able to purchase
them right now, all other items that have an
button on their item page are available for purchase
normally, this is the vast majority of the merchandise
we sell. So it is only a very small select group of
merchandise types that has been paused in their sales.
Tremolo arms and customized
knob sets are an exception to this
custom classification, they can still be purchased
normally.
All orders placed before January 1,
2021 for the above custom type items are being processed
and built in the order in which they were received, so
they'll be shipping just as soon as we can complete each
customers project.

Today we completed the last of the
custom orders that came in before January 1, 2021, these
orders will be shipping out on January 14, 2021.
However, just because we have caught
up does not mean we will immediately open up sales again
for all our custom merchandise, we still need time away
from the constant fabrication and working in the shop.
It was last February 2020 when we had any time off at
all and after a while it is easy to get burned out with
the non-stop work if we don't step away for a bit every
once in a while. It has been straight work 7 days a week
10-12 hour work days for almost a year, that gets
dizzying after a while...
Just as soon as we resume accepting
orders for our custom merchandise you'll notice that the
message in the red banner just below the menu at the top
of every page will be updated with a message indicating
that we've resumed sales for custom items, you'll also
notice those custom items
buttons will be
reinstated so orders can be placed.

We have
resumed acceptance of all our Custom Manufactured and
Custom Built merchandise items. All of their
buttons have been reinstated on their item pages.
