We custom build each of these complete Strat® pickguard
assemblies in our shop by hand for every customer based on the unique
specifications selected below.
Includes
everything ready to drop in to your favorite
Strat® by simply hooking up the hot wire (audio)
and ground wires. Includes genuine
Fender® Super 55 Split Coil Noiseless Pickup Set, genuine
Fender® pickguard, knobs, switch tip along with
top quality CTS potentiometers, Orange
Drop polyester film tone
capacitors and a CRL pickup selector switch.
The standard 11 hole
pickguards are fully aluminum foil shielded as they come from
Fender,
click for illustration.
The '57, '62 and '65 vintage pickguards
require a separate aluminum pickguard shield
which is to be added extra if so desired. Use
separate "Add to Cart" buttons found below for
addition of these pickguard shields.
These pickups require a
bodies pickup routing depth of 3/4", vintage
5/8" depth routings may present issues with the
pickups bottoming out in the routings and not
allowing the pickups to be lowered to a level
you may desire for your pickup to string height
setup.
We offer a few assembly selection

particular Strat® body color.

Pickup Tone Controls:With standard Strat® wiring the bridge pickup does
not have a tone control, only the middle and neck
pickups have a tone control. However, we offer
5 alternate pickup
tone control selections to choose from to enhance
your tonal shaping.

control for the bridge pickup.

Fender® Super 55
Split-Coil pickups deliver a state-of-the
art Noiseless Humbucking sound in an iconic
single-coil Fender® configuration that will
supercharge the sound of your Stratocaster.
Wound with two
separate linear coils, each pickup is voiced
to deliver the signature tone of a
single-coil pickup with slightly hotter
output. This coil design also produces
additional responsiveness and quiet
operation not found in typical pickups.
Alnico 5 magnets give these pickups a smooth
and balanced sound, making them highly
versatile for all types of music and playing
styles. This amazing new design pairs modern
technology with authentically classic Fender® sound and looks.

selecting your pickguard assembly to be built
with one of the '57, '62 or '65 vintage pickguards they are unshielded as
provided by Fender. To have the genuine Fender®
full coverage aluminum pickguard shielding plate or '57 control
area aluminum shielding plate installed please add it separately
below using the appropriate "Add to Cart"
button.
These separate aluminum shielding plates are specific and authentic to
how Fender was shielding their pickguard
assemblies during the '50s and early to mid
60's. The '57 pickguard typically will
have the control area aluminum shielding plate
installed, the '62 and '65 pickguard typically
will have the full coverage aluminum shielding
plate installed.
