Excellent to superb condition 1990 vintage Stratocaster '57 re-issue neck. The frets show basically no wear at all, looks as if it was never played, and if it was, it was very little. The wood grain structure throughout the entire neck is simply beautiful.

The truss rod adjusting nut was removed and the threads on the truss rod and the adjusting nut were cleaned and then a small amount of synthetic lubricant with Teflon was applied. The truss rod now operates precisely with very smooth adjustment, no binding metal on metal as it came from Fender. Hard to imagine that a guitar could go 20 years and remain in such perfect near new condition. Closet classic for sure!

Some checking in the Nitro finish, (visible on the 4th photograph down, just where the neck rolls around underneath by the nut), absolutely no checking on the fingerboard. This is an extremely common, somewhat expected condition in older instruments with nitrocellulose lacquer finishes.

The neck plate has some natural aging marks depicted in last photograph below.

Overall this is a wonderful example of a vintage '57 reissue Strat neck that is 19 years old. You will be hard pressed to find an almost 20 year old neck in such un-played condition, don't miss out on this vintage opportunity.
